I’ve got to be completely honest with you.  I don’t really get on with Affirmations.  I understand the power of repetition - stating clear intentions to line up your not-on-purpose thinking behind them.  But standing in front of a mirror, saying “I am Beautiful / Powerful / Worthy / Loveable” (choose as appropriate....) might just ramp up the struggle between the parts of your thinking, as the underlying parts bring out their evidence that you’re not like that at all.

So when I was first introduced to Affirmation Havening, I was sceptical.  I’d been using Havening for a good few years, and had helped lots of people to overcome some really quite unpleasant experiences.  So I got out of my own way and immersed in discovering what results the Affirmation form could support too...
